About

I'm Arnau Lladó Terradas, a web developer based in Catalonia, Spain, currently studying engineering. Building and maintaining websites is my day-to-day work, and restaurant sites are where I keep running into the same recurring technical problems.

Why I write about this

I work directly on restaurant websites: wiring up online ordering widgets, checking what a reservation tool does to page speed, and fixing consent and analytics setups that don't account for a newly added booking script. This site is where I write down what actually breaks and what actually works, instead of repeating what a vendor's pricing page claims. I'm early in my career and don't claim decades of industry history — everything here comes from configurations I've built and tested myself, and I flag clearly when something is a general industry fact rather than something I've verified hands-on.

How I work

I test what I can directly: the real embed code a provider gives me, the page-speed numbers before and after adding a script, the actual checkout flow a widget uses. When I cite a number I haven't tested myself, such as a delivery app's commission rate, I say so and link to where it comes from. I use AI tools to help draft and organize articles, never to invent facts, figures, or quotes — every technical claim on this site is checked before it's published, and if I get something wrong, I correct the article and note what changed.
